Blessings come in the most “intentional” of spaces.
Last year I exercised my freedom to “give” away what I love to do .. “Coach”! I posted an invitation for pro-bono coaching hours on my Facebook page. The response was amazing, each applicant giving me the beautiful story of “the why” in their desire for coaching and to take their life to the next level. Among the amazing individuals was a blast from my past, an old university friend and wow what an honor to serve this individual.
But, here’s where it gets really cool.. said individual also had fabulous wife & wife had fabulous friends which led me to my fabulous new cohort of masterful business women that ad value and serve my life beyond anything I could desire or imagine.
So what is the butterfly effect of this amazing situation? .. (fyi, university was a long time ago)
Amazing & courageous friend says “yes” to the opportunity for “help”. I am granted the privilege of serving him in a safe but not always comfortable, straight shooting, bold environment. He kicks ass and introduces me to his amazing lady. His simple yet brave act… spirals into one of the most profound friendships that is transforming my own business and life journey.
What is the most amazing piece of all this? I gave away the equivalent of thousands of dollars in revenue, parted with my very precious time and I actually recieved more value than what I gave away. When this began I had no ideas that this relationship would be as pivotal and strategic as it became. The big ahhh is that “I began, I reached out, I took a risk, and I chose to give, serve and ad value to another human’s life journey”!
What simple act of courage do you need to take that could transform your own life, the life of someone you love, or the life of someone you may not even know?
Why do you want to engage? How will you engage? When will you engage?
En”joy” your journey and be present so as to see the benefit in every opportunity where you are serving.
